New Huawei Media Pad Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich specs and features Review

Huawei launched its new version of Media Pad tablet which would ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. At previous versions of Huawei Media Pad tablet comes with pre loaded Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. They have also launched new Media Pad Color Series that would run on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). The new tablet features are same as the previous version such as 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) display with 217 PPI and 1080P Full HD video playback, Qualcomm dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. The Media Pad Color Series would be available in Shadow black, Passion pink and Classic brown colors. Huawei has also declared that the previous versions of Media Pad users would also receive an OTA update of Android 4.0 upgrade by the first quarter of 2012.

It has Android OS, v4.0 powered with 1.2 GHz Dual-core processor, Adreno 220 GPU, 2G and 3G network support. The weight of the tab is 390 g and 190 x 124 x 10.5 mm thick. Media Pad got amazing 7.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 1280 pixels resolution which cans playback 1080P Full HD videos. It has internal 5.8 GB storage which is good as compare to other tablets at this price and can also be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card slot. With 8 GB ROM and 1 GB RAM it is good enough. It has full HD camera of 5 MP rare facing with 2592×1944 pixels resolution, auto focus and LED flash. It also got 1.3 MP front facing camera for video calling. Other features like HDMI port, A-GPS, Li-Po 4100 mAh battery which gives Up to 6 h of talk time and support Up to 200 h on standby.
